Alright, so check this out. HD Hyundai is teaming up with Google Cloud to amp up their digital game by using generative AI technology. This collaboration is set to integrate generative AI across Hyundai’s major businesses, like their shipbuilding and construction machinery divisions. Google Cloud is bringing in some big guns, like its Vertex AI platform, to develop industry-specific AI applications.
And starting January 2024, they’re gonna be focused on things like building AI solutions tailored to each industry’s needs, creating AI-based platforms to enhance customer digital experiences, and training AI experts. By the way, they’ve already been testing a Generative AI service for customer service calls in their construction equipment division. This partnership actually kicked off in July 2023 and HD Hyundai is all about establishing a long-term AI roadmap to lead digital and business innovation.
They’ve been making moves on the AI front, launching an AI Center to develop custom generative AI, partnering with POSCO on smart unmanned technology, and even teaming up with Siemens on AI for smart shipyards. HD Hyundai is eager to combine their vast data with Google Cloud’s generative AI tech to improve work efficiency and boost customer satisfaction.
And, hey, this collaboration is so important that Philip Moyer, Vice President of Global AI Business and Solutions at Google Cloud, will be speaking at HD Hyundai’s CES 2024 keynote session. It’s a pretty big deal and it’s all going down. Published on December 26th, 2023 at 8:15 AM IST.
